An extraordinary, pale pearl colored mink labeled EMBA Pearl, Natural Pale Beige Mink, Royal Quality. Emba furs were the highest quality furs that one could buy and graced the backs of starlets, royalty and society ladies. It is easy to see that level of quality in this piece -t he fur is extremely supple and sift. The jacket is pieced together in vertical stripes set extremely close together and matched perfectly for pile and color. I love how thoroughly modern it feels - some of these 50s short jackets feel very dated and they are heavy - this one is light and almost fluid. Perfect for over jeans or the dressiest occasion.
